Happily married couples can give singles good sound advice and sometimes can be the key to singles meeting their spouse through their matchmaking skills.
To all of those who are single like myself, I want to encourage y'all that happily married couples (Husband & Wife duo) can give singles who are in relationships leading towards marriage great sound advice. Just a married man & just a married woman cannot do that so it's highly recommended that you don't get advice from those kind of married people. Christian singles you are encouraged to get advice from fellow Christian singles & Godly married couples. Speaking from personal experience I found that when I shared anything with happily married couples I felt a whole lot more comfortable than when I shared things with single married people (just a married man or just a married woman). I know it can sound discouraging when we hear about different married people that met their spouse & we are wondering when is we are going to experience that ourselves. Trust me when I say this, it's all in God's timing because I am a single man who is waiting on God for my wife. It's all about doing what the Lord has called us to do while we are waiting to meet our spouse. Married couples have been really effective matchmakers when introducing singles to each other. There are churches where they have ministries where there are married couples who are matchmaking singles together (as husband & wife).
I wrote this blog for this very reason because it's healthy for us singles to talk to both fellow singles like ourselves & happily married couples. Times have changed & it seems hard to trust people nowadays but singles we have to trust in the Lord and ask him to give us wisdom when we are even talking to single people because there are single married people (married people who are unhappy in their marriage that act like they are single) and singles like ourselves.
